The Genesis
Our founding story
Poverty is a vicious cycle, education is the foundation and empowerment is the only means to promote the underprivileged communities and pivot their lives to progressive pursuits.
Krishi NGO envisions to uplift the lives of marginalized and neglected communities with access to education, empowerment and provide necessary assistance through our programs. We strive to light up smiles and endear the lives of underserved and underprivileged rural folks.
The very founders of this organization have gone through a saga of hard work, struggle and thirst for education during their academics.
“KRISHI INTEGRATED RURAL DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY” was established on 28th March 2005 as per Societies Act 1967, registered with Govt of Andhra Pradesh, India.
India is home to 1.4 billion people with diverse cultures and huge inequality among the masses across rural and urban areas. Urbanization has created a lot of opportunities in cities, whereas rural and tribal folks are struggling with poor access to education, healthcare and livelihood opportunities.
Our focus is to take up necessary interventions in rural and tribal villages, thereby lift the masses in breaking the vicious cycle of poverty.
